1. Most of our self-generated sorrows, anxiety, fear, and stress can be removed by controlling our thoughts. Meditation helps us to think less, think slow, and think better. How Can I make my mind Think less, think slow, and think better? just by focusing your thought on something positive about yourself. If you are frequently stressed often tired searching for inner peace of mind or perhaps just looking for greater meaning and purpose in life, then you are ready for meditation. 

 

2. Meditation is about coming to a new perception of the nature of the mind, about nurturing new qualities until they become an integral part of our being and we learn a new way of doing things. It provides an alternate spiritual perspective, to view yourself and the world around you that is more compassionate, empowering, and meaningful; what is required is a little more time for yourself. 

 

3. Meditation gives man inner tranquility. It gives him mental relaxation and thus enhances his capacity to judge things calmly and dispassionately. It enables man to live in peace and to let others live in peace. meditation brings about a society in which people by their very nature, are peaceful, love full, and lawful. they are holy, happy, and healthy. They are active and effective, alert and efficient. It improves human relations, increases stamina, frees him from worries, saves him from wastage of Thought Power, and brings about an atmosphere of goodwill. In other words, it brings about the Golden Age or the world of deities or divine sovereignty.

 

4. Every human being in this world, aspires for peace and happiness. Happiness and peace have in fact, less to do with gross objects they refer to the state of mind. Moreover, it’s an experience, which is highest and is independent of worldly objects and senses, called Bliss. Bliss or supersensuous joy enables a person to break the shackles of otherwise diehard habits and addictions.

 

5. Meditation enables a person to control his mind and to have an economy of thoughts. Further, it brings behavioral transformation of man without any therapy. the which yogi creates while meditating works like mental surgery. Positive virtues are implanted in him in place of negative traits. The brain is a “tathastu”(amen) machine. If you think positive it says tathastu, if you think negative it says tathastu. The brain just responds to your thought. You are the master of your mind, you can train your mind and change your brain, provided you want to change it. The brain can be trained to rewire itself to respond with attention and compassion. willful, mindful effort can alter brains structure and functions.

 

6. Meditation has an impact on physical, mental, and emotional health. It Reduces chronic pain, reduces depression sleep disorder, slows cellular aging, reduces anxiety improves impulse control helps control stress reduce emotional reactivity. Long-term meditators' show increased size in brain regions associated with emotional regulation, large volume in these regions might account for meditators' single abilities and habits to cultivate positive emotions retains emotional stability, and engage in mindful behavior.

 

7. Meditation provides us a set of alternative beliefs to a viewpoint that is more empowering and divine, to view ourselves, to view the world, our relationship, so that our understanding and experience transforms.    

                                               

8. Meditation gives you back the power to lead your own life and become the controller of your own emotions, you are no longer a puppet if you want you can take control back and become master of your mind.
