Know Your 7 Chakras 

Nāḍī (Sanskrit: नाडी, lit. 'tube, pipe, nerve, blood vessel, pulse') is a term for the channels through which, in traditional Indian medicine and spiritual knowledge, the energies such as prana of the physical body, the subtle body, and the causal body are said to flow. the Nadis are said to connect at special points of intensity, the chakras. All Nadis are said to originate from one of two centers; the heart and the Kanda, the latter being an egg-shaped bulb in the pelvic area, just below the navel. The three principal Nadis run from the base of the spine to the head and are the Ida on the left, the Sushumna in the center, and the Pingala on the right. Ultimately the goal is to unblock these Nadis to bring liberation. 



In this universe everything is vibration, every chakra has a different frequency and has a particular sound and colors.

Your body consists of 7 chakras, these 7 chakras are named as follows:

1. Muladhara Chakra or Root Chakra(kundalini chakra) –


The root chakra is located at the base of the spine at the tail bone, color is (Red), sound is (LAM) and nature is (Power) which is linked to the earth element. the root chakra has a red lotus of 4 petals with a frequency of 396 HZ and it is associated with energy, survival, stability, comfort, and safety.

Muladhara chakra in Sanskrit is known as "the root of all things", the center of emotional and spiritual balance as well as instinctual consciousness. this chakra is also believed to be connected with kundalini or cosmic energy force which can be awakened and moved up the spine through the other chakras, within the chakra system the root chakra has masculine energy and is symbolized with red lotus with 4 petals. elementally it is associated with earth and its mantra is "I have".

2. Svadhishthana Chakra or Sacral Chakra –


The sacral chakra is located in the lower abdomen, color is (Orange),  sound is (VAM) and nature is (Purity) which is linked to the water element. sacral chakra has an orange lotus of 6 petals with a frequency of 417 HZ and it is associated with sensuality, sexuality, pleasure, sociability, and emotions.

Svadhisthana chakra in Sanskrit is known as "the social chakra" or "the creation chakra", the sacral chakra has feminine energy and it is symbolized by a flower or crescent moon. elementally it is associated with water and its mantra is "I feel".

3. Manipura Chakra or Navel Chakra(solar plexus chakra) –

solar plexus chakra situated at the navel. color is (yellow) sound is (RAM), and nature is (Happiness) which is linked to fire element. solar plexus chakra has a yellow lotus of 10 petals with a frequency of 528 HZ and it is associated with strength, personality, power, determination, and self-esteem.

Manipura in Sanskrit translates to "city of jewels", this acts as a center of personal power, much to do with motivation, willpower, and self-confidence. the solar plexus chakra has masculine energy and it is symbolized with yellow or gold color and by a downward pointing triangle with ten petaled flowers. elementally this chakra is associated with fire as well as the sun and its mantra is "I can".

4. Anahata Chakra or Heart Chakra –


The heart chakra is situated in the middle of the chest. color is (Green), sound is (YAM) and nature is (Love) which is linked to the air element. the heart chakra has a lotus of 12 petals with a frequency of 639 HZ and it is associated with love, acceptance, compassion, and sincerity.

Anahata in Sanskrit translates to "unhurt", it is located at the center of the spines at heart level, the heart chakra has feminine energy and is symbolized by a green six-pointed star within 12 petals lotus flower. elementally heart chakra is associated with air, and its mantra is "I love". this chakra is special because it is the center point of the system and unifier of the physical and spiritual chakras. by connecting the upper three chakras with the lower three chakras act as the bridge between earth energy and cosmic energy.

5. Vishuddha Chakra or Throat Chakra – 

 

Throat chakra situated in the throat area. Color is (blue), sound is (HAM) and nature is (peace) which is linked to space element or sound element. throat chakra has 16 petals lotus flower with frequency 741 HZ and is associated with communication, expression, creativity, and inspiration.

Vishuddha in Sanskrit means "purification" it acts as the individual force of expression and truth, both internally and externally. the throat chakra has masculine energy and it is symbolized with a blue 16 petaled lotus flower. elementally it is associated with sound and its mantra is "I speak".

6. Ajna Chakra or third eye chakra – 


The third eye chakra is located in the middle of the forehead. color is (indigo), sound  is (OM) and nature is (Knowledge) linked  with light element. The third eye chakra has 2 petals lotus flower with frequency 852 HZ and is associated with intuition, lucidity, meditation, and trust.

Ajna chakra in Sanskrit is known as "the sit of intuition", which means perceive, beyond wisdom and command. located in the center of the forehead, it acts as an individual's wisdom, conscience, and higher consciousness. the third eye chakra allows for clear thought, spiritual contemplation, and self-reflection. this chakra also helps to determine one's reality and beliefs based on what one chooses to see in the world. it is the highest chakra in the physical body, allowing it to provide a visionary perspective. The third eye chakra has a feminine energy and it is symbolized by an upside-down triangle and 2 petaled indigo color lotus flowers. elementally it is associated with light or ether and its mantra is "I see".

7. Sahasrara Chakra or Crown Chakra – 


The crown chakra is an energy point situated at the top of the head. color is (violet),  sound is (AUM) and nature is (Bliss), which is linked to the conscious mind(emotional self) or thought element. crown chakra has 1000 petals with a frequency of 963 HZ and is associated with consciousness, fulfillment, and spirituality.

Sahasrara chakra in Sanskrit is known as "the bridge to the cosmos". located above the crown of the head, it acts as the individual's center of spirit, enlightenment, universal consciousness, and connection with the supreme power (God). the crown chakra is our highest potential and it governs interaction and communication with the universe, one's sense of inspiration and devotion, union with the higher self, and the divine and deeper understanding. it has masculine energy and is symbolized by a circle with 1000 petaled violet lotus flowers and its mantra is "I know".
